ARTIST PROFILE

I graduated from Western Washington State College in Bellingham Washington with a double major of Art and English in 1972. My major emphasis was Lithography. Since then I have pursued mostly water media for the majority of my painting, although I have worked in all mediums.

I retired from the Dex yellow pages sales organization after 30 plus years in outside sales as a consultant, and manager. While traveling with Dex I always painted.

I consider myself a realist impressionist Influenced mightily by the grandeur of the great outdoors.

I have traveled extensively but focus most of my attention on the mountains and the ocean.

In addition to my painting, I am a self-published poet. My title “Ramblings of a Northwest Impressionist, Seasonal Interludes” is available on Amazon.com.

Find my paintings at Parklane Gallery of Fine Art in Kirkland Washington, in person or at their online store. My work is available for purchase here and my other online outlet, Etsy @

I love to paint and commissions are always welcome.
